Dora Landey has been dealing in blue and white Staffordshire transferware pottery since 1991. For years before that she had been a collector, and still is. She and her pottery have been featured in articles in Good Housekeeping, House Beautiful, Country Living, and Victoria magazines. Her personal collection can be seen in "Romantic Staffordshire" published by Schiffer Books, and she currently exhibits at shows in the Northeast, including Wilton CT, Brimfield MA, and Farmington, CT.
Her passions run more for the rural scenes of gentrified and country life than for the American historical. She also loves animals, florals, chinoisserie, geometrics and some of the wonderful British historical houses. She has done her best to stock her store with the finest that is available. If you are looking for something that is not listed, please e-mail or call her with your specific requests. She loves talking with people about blue, and is always eager to find new patterns or the solutions to transferware mysteries, such as the unknown makers of familiar patterns and the sources of the patterns themselves.
In the meantime, please browse among the treasures that are catalogued both here and at www.rubylane.com. If you love blue and white transferware, spending twenty minutes here will reward you a hundred times over.
